  • I am a Christian and I find this prayer on the wall of a public school to be inappropriate. School is not the place for school-sponsored religious displays. Students may learn about different religions, but this is clearly a case of a school *practicing* religion. I agree with the court decision.

  • There is no good reason to measure BMI in a TODDLER! Kids often gain weight right before a growth spurt. It doesn't mean they are fat. Jeez.

  • Well, my 10 year old is very petite, so YES, she sits on a booster. Because my car doesn't start until everyone is properly restrained. As Summer said, the recommendations don't say EVERY 12-year-old. It says UNTIL THE MAXIMUMS ARE REACHED. Read more carefully.
